Julia Flit is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and a photographer specializing in jewellery and fashion.

Since starting her career in 2012, Julia has traveled the world as a professional jewellery photographer, capturing the creations of some of the best international jewellery designers. She has shot advertising campaigns for Vogue Brazil and Bergdorf Goodman, and her photographs have appeared in publications such as the Financial Times, Elle Serbia, the New York Times, and Porter, as well as on the covers of Rapaport and others. She has been working as a GEMOLOGUE photographer for several years including shooting jewellery images for GEMOLOGUE’s first jewellery book Street Jewellery Styles & Styling Tips by Liza Urla released in 2018.

Julia co-founded GEM Kreatives in 2015 with her business partner, Liza Urla, a London-based creative agency specialising in brand development and visual strategy for jewellery industry. Gem has worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry, including House of Garrard and Silvia Furmanovich, both from a photographic and online media standpoint.

Julia began her artistic career in fine art photography in 2021 and exhibited at the prestigious Photo London Exhibition in 2022. Since then, her photographs have been showcased in various exhibitions across Europe and the US.

Her art reflects her dreams and emotions, highlighting different levels of consciousness and exuding brightness, vibrancy, and a sense of provocation. Instead of merely taking photos, she uses her camera to paint fantasies, weaving poetry and philosophy into her works. Her creations serve as a testament to the whimsical and the ethereal, erasing the boundaries between dreams and reality and provoking explorations of identity, memory, and the subconscious.
